Car Hire – Terms and Conditions

Driver's License Information

All named drivers must hold a full and valid driver's licence, valid for the country of use (an International Licence is recommended) and held for a minimum of one year.

Coverages / Insurance Information

The prices quoted include unlimited mileage, vehicle insurance (CDW) and VAT 21%.

CDW does not cover: broken key locks, damage to tires, wheel trims, chipped or broken windows, wind screens, the roof, interior of the car, towing charges, etc...

You may therefore be liable for the damage of these items.

Additional Driver Information

Additional Drivers are allowed at additional cost and must meet the same criteria as the primary driver.

Additional drivers must be present at the time of rental and present a full valid drivers licence held for at least one year.

Late Arrival Information (Out of Schedule rentals)

Available at Faro Airport from 7:00am to 11:55pm. Customers must have flight details.

Vehicle deliveries between 11:55pm and 7:00am will be charged a supplement of 25€.

Territory Covered by the Rental Agreement

The rental is valid throughout continental Portugal.

Should the customer require to travel to other countries, they must obtain the necessary insurance certificate (Green Card).

Charges apply locally for extra insurance.

Rental Return Information

The car should be returned in accordance with the Rental Agreement, including fuel, damage and other policies.

Fuel Information

Vehicles are delivered with the fuel tank full, in respect of which a deposit of 50€ is requested.

This will be reimbursed on termination of the rental contract should the car be handed in with the tank full.

Fuel required to fill the tank will be estimated and its value calculated and deducted from the deposit, the balance of which will then be returned to the customer.
